Just because a narcissist doesn't feel or think the same as you doesn't mean that they will forget about you. It appears that after the narcissist has finished with you, he or she will resume normal life the following day.
Consider this: If you've been with someone for a long time—sometimes years or decades—you can't possibly forget about them in a single day or even a single night. A narcissist won't forget you despite lacking empathy, feelings, and a heart. Remind yourself of how narcissists are morbidly jealous; in their minds, even when you aren't with them, you still belong to them. This jealousy never goes away.
The narcissist will never forget what you gave him or her or the benefits that you brought. A narcissist won't just remember what they acquired from you; they'll also remember how you made them feel.
The narcissist needs to find something to replace it since they are addicted to it. The narcissist craves control and is constantly curious about your whereabouts and activities. A narcissist will never be able to overcome their addictions or forget the things that made them feel good and released dopamine..A narcissist claims there is no problem, just like an alcoholic does. He or she doesn't want to be aware of the issue. It's similar to how an alcoholic recalls where they stashed the bottle and knows where it is. The narcissist knows where you are and can recall where they hid you.
The later relationship is an illusion, just as the earlier one with the narcissist was. This is likewise a delusion, whether it be a relationship with another narcissist or the idea that leaving had no effect at all. A narcissist never stops trying to exact revenge on you for what you did to them. The narcissist has a different perspective; they believe that since you fell short of their expectations, you are to blame for everything.
A narcissist finds it challenging to lose sight of the fact that they are still somewhat connected to you. As soon as you take away something you've given him or her, they become connected to it. A narcissist frequently accepts their own lies and believes in another world they have created. Because doing so is far easier, the narcissist deceives themselves. It is more convenient to accept your own lies, to put the responsibility for everything on you, to say that you weren't good enough, to make you believe that you are the problem, and that the narcissist has found someone else who makes them happy.
Because the narcissist fears you will eventually move on and find relief, he or she will never stop thinking about you. He or she is concerned that you will overlook them. The narcissist hopes that it won't be possible for you to move past what they've done to you, but they are afraid that you will.
Everything is contradictory in the mentality of a narcissist. Either you are fantastic or hopeless. You either win or lose. When a narcissist observes you succeeding in life, he or she believes you are winning while they are losing.
The absence of a narcissist does not indicate that you are flawed in some way. The narcissist departs because there is nothing right about him or her. Even if it appears that the narcissist is now content with a new partner, in reality, he or she will always find an excuse to return to you. A narcissist can contact you for any reason, including an unannounced visit or a sudden message. Despite appearances, rejection and having someone else take your place is also an illusion. A narcissist will never express their true emotions or thoughts to others. He or she wouldn't do it now if they didn't do it when you were dating.
A narcissist will never forget you, what you gave him or her, how you helped him or her, or how you made him or her feel. You'll hear from him/her again since the narcissist will make an effort to get in touch with you or respond to your message.
